In 2011, the duo were back in an official eighth season which consisted of 22 episodes. The movie followed the boys on a road trip journey to find their stolen television, and later on “score,” all while being chased by the FBI! The film was a commercial success, with a budget of $12 million and earning $63 million at the box office. The popularity of the show naturally lead to 1996’s Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. As one of MTV’s highest-rated shows at the time, Beavis and Butt-Head would continue to wreak havoc on MTV from 1992 all the way through 1997 with seven seasons.
